The soul’s path has a relationship between each of the ten cards in the worldly path and its corresponding position in the conscious spiritual path. Find below my interpretation of these pair relationships from a spiritual path perspective.
Physical exploration. Will-power exercised to create physical experience.
Will-power exercised to create psychological understanding.
Accumulation of experience and creation of memory of self. Gradual crystallization of the notional entity “me” based on “my” memory.
Relinquishing of all memory of self. Realization of Nothingness or Pure Consciousness as Self. Insight into the reality of the non-existence of “me” as a separate entity. Presence independent of memory.
Creation and growth of a personality including qualities both harmonized with and discrepant from our essential nature.
Elimination of all that was accumulated that is discrepant from our essential nature. Cleansing. Removal of the unnecessary.
Male. Intentional exercise of control and mastery.
Spontaneous, effortless balance of opposites. Neither male nor female.
Social rules and social order. Absorption of imposed behavioral patterns.
Self-limiting harmful rules and blind/unconscious obedience and subservience come to light and are shed.
Passion. Choice that affects people emotionally. Creation of karma.
Inability to choose to be liberated from karma therefore external intervention destroys the rigid and liberates the heart to choose new paths.
Accomplishment of objectives on the physical realm. Sense of self and connection to the world via accomplishment of deeds.
Liberation from the compulsion or need to accomplish on any realm, including self-improvement and spiritual goals. Integration in the world via fearless being and inner freedom.
Execution of cause and effect. Karma (unbalanced emotional bond) accounted for.
Emotional residues of karma come to the surface and are dealt with consciously, rather than brushed under the soul’s rug.
Introspection and self-assessment. Shedding light on past action.
Light is found within, producing liberation from emotional residues of karma and engendering unconditional love.
THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE
Bonding to the repetition of experience to create or pay karma.
Final liberation from the bondage of karma through Self-Knowledge: through the Understanding that there was never a Self that was bound.
